The OMS Portglenone Charity shop is greatly used of God to raise very necessary funds for evangelical Christian projects in Colombia, Ireland and Haiti. It has also given towards ministries in Ecuador as well.
I have the privilege of visiting the shop most Thursday morning especially for the prayer time between 10.00am to 10.30am in the Upper Room:
On coming down the stairs from the upper room the following verse a scripture is displayed which has been there for many years:
What a wonderful question for OMS to reflect on as a mission as we seek to reach one billion people with the Gospel over a ten year period. It certainly is very relevant throughout Ireland where unfortunately people are becoming more and more materialistic and secular. Oh that God would open up the eyes of the Irish to appreciate the value of their never dying soul.
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” Ezekiel 18:20
Let us be more fervent in praying for the salvation of precious souls for whom Christ died and reaching them with the glorious message of the Gospel before it is forever too late.
If you would like to visit the shop it is located at 44 Main Street, Portglenone. The opening hours are 10.30am-4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday
